The Rocketstove mass heater is made of clay from Hemmen, local sand and a lot of stones. Together more than 5000 kilo of thermal mass. The rocket principle is reached by an insulated chimney, this creates enough draft to burn cleanly. After this the air cools quickly against the metal oil drum, this combination creates enough pressure to get the hot air through the 10 meter long chimney in the bench where the remaining heat is stored. The reflection plate makes sure all the heat is radiated into the rest of the room. When the bench is heated up it provides a nice warm bed for two times two people.
