Here are located several experiments on cooking with solar energy. We aim to live here without any external energy source. Cooking on solar energy will aid our energy independence. You see a sun drier wherein food is dried using rising heated air. The satellite dish has, by means of shiny foil, become a focal lens for sunlight. Cooking can be done slowly on the focal point. Cooking with sun is different than on a stove. We also use a hay chest, preserving heat for a gradual cooking process.
